linuxwacom-0.8.2.2-15.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/linuxwacom-0.8.2.2-15.fc12 linuxwacom-0.8.2.2-15.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository. Created attachment 372539 [details] Fixed version of linuxwacom-0.8.2.2-intuos4-support-backport.patch Description of problem: If you use an Intuos4 tablet on a Fedora 12 box, X will crash with the following error on an attached strace: writev(2, [{"/usr/bin/X", 10}, {": ", 2}, {"symbol lookup error", 19}, {": ", 2}, {"/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/wa"..., 42}, {": ", 2}, {"undefined symbol: xf86WcmTilt2R", 31}, {"", 0}, {"", 0}, {"\n", 1}], 10) = 109 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.8.2.2-14.fc12 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Touch any button or move the stylus near an Intuos4 tablet while in X Actual results: X crashes out and restarts Expected results: The tablet should work :-) Additional info: This seems to have been caused by the linuxwacom-0.8.2.2-intuos4-support-backport.patch It didn't add wcmTilt2Rotation support into the Makefiles for the xdrv meaning the function was undefined. Attached is a fixed version of that patch.
