This crash started happening after the last upgrade to the Fedora 12 release (I was running a two weeks old rawhide before the release). Currently this prevents me from logging in to the computer as a user - I had to log in as root so I could report the bug - So I think it should be marked as a high priority problem. Sorry for the bug spam, but is anybody working on this issue? currently it prevents Windows domain logins completely to Fedora 12 machines. Also, winbind crashes constantly - I get about 100 crashes a day which are reported by abrt. Yeah, I think we resolved this issue upstream. In the meantime, can you just go back to the last updated version for f12 (and not use the one from updates-testing) ? just as a reminder to myself: http://git.samba.org/?p=samba.git;a=commitdiff;h=bb86aea5007b8ccf6f2f01e5f3c7a32b74eb7d74 should be that patch. *** Bug 541635 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** samba-3.4.3-50.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/samba-3.4.3-50.fc12 Thank you.
