There is a bug in rsync when using --fake-super; it doesn't set directory permissions to u+rwx.  There is a patch available from the rsync mailing list (it will be in a future release).  Can this patch be added to the Fedora rsync please?

rsync-3.0.6-1.fc11 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 11.

rsync-3.0.6-1.fc11 has been pushed to the Fedora 11 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
