kernel panic screenshot

Description of problem:
Attempting to install an F12 guest on an F12 host using virt-manager/libvirt/kvm,
the install process crashes every time, at various points early in the process.
Sometimes hald would segfault, causing anaconda to display "install exited abnormally [1/1] you may safely reboot your system", some other times the VM would lock up hard with a kernel panic (see attached screenshot #1).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-PAE- (on host)
kernel- (I assume, on guest)

How reproducible:
Attempt to install F12 in a VM running on top of an F12 host. Mine, in particular, is a Mac Pro (see dmidecode attachment #2 [details])

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create new VM via virt-manager wizard (mine has 1024Mb of RAM, 15Gig virtual disk, one CPU, OS set to Linux/F12, everything else is default)
2. boot off F12 DVD, appending 'text' to the boot options for install (crashes in graphics mode also, but text mode allows for easier harvesting of crash info)
3. watch it crash and burn
Actual results:
anaconda crashes, hald crashes, kernel panics during the early steps of the process (soon after entering root password)

Expected results:
successful install of F12 on the VM

Additional info:
several extra screenshots of various crash data collected during repeated attempts at installing F12

hald crash preceding kernel panic

the timing of this precedes the kernel panic and coincides with anaconda crashing (see next attachment)

another instance of anaconda crashing

this happens if I wait until the kernel panic to take the screenshot from vty1 where anaconda runs

nevermind :) A 'yum update' made the behavior disappear (among others, it
bumped me to kernel-PAE- on the host). Closing w. notabug -- sorry about the noise.
