Description of problem:
The current jakarta-commons-fileupload package is very old -- 1.0 was released in 2003, and the current version is 1.2.1 from January 2008 (see http://commons.apache.org/fileupload/). Please update the package to the newest one -- I've got a package-in-progress that requires some of the new API.

Mary, what package depends on this ?  if an open/active review, can mark it as something that this bug Blocks

It's required for sesame -- I don't have a review request for that yet because the other dependencies aren't all done yet. I may provenpackager it myself when I get back online after the holidays.

FWIW, I was considering packaging up Stripes and it also requires 1.2.1 commons-fileupload.

jakarta-commons-fileupload-1.2.1-1.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with 
 su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update jakarta-commons-fileupload'.  You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F12/FEDORA-2010-0238
