Hi David.

Thanks for the bug report.

Could you please tell us if a specific action triggered this crash ? Like for example starting/stopping compiz, using some plugins, or if it looks like it happened randomly?

As well, our maintainer would be interested in the coredump file generated
during the crash.

This file is named coredump and should be located in /var/cache/abrt/ccppxxxxx/
If you have several ccpp directories, ensure to pick up the correct one.

1) Compress this file.
2) Split the compressed file into several chunks if its size is larger than 20M
(max upload size for bugzilla). You can do it using the split command:

"split -b 15M filename filename" (yes. twice time the filename of the file you want to split)

What will generate you files (filenameaa, filenameab, filenameac ... ) that we
would need you to attach to this bugzilla report.

Many thanks in advance for your actions.

Regards.

Hi all,

David, you have not replied yet to the request.
Nevertheless, I am going to escalate this to Adel, that will decide what to
do with this (is this some sort of unload plugin issue ..?).

So far, only 0.8.2-19 were reporting this BT.

David, If you remember who to trigger this, please fill free to post a comment.

Regards.
And happy new year 2010.

Could you please reply to the previous question? If you won't reply in one month, I will have to close this bug as INSUFFICIENT_DATA. Thank you.

[Note please, that this is machine generated comment for large amount of bugs; due to some technical issues, it is possible we've missed some of the responses -- it is happens, please, just a make a comment about that; that we will see. Thank you]

Comment 6 Jeff Raber 2010-05-05 06:24:17 UTC
Closing as INSUFFICIENT_DATA.

Also, I noticed that the backtrace make reference to the binary nvidia driver.
