Created attachment 375866 [details] X log Description of problem: Multiple times a day, my screen will freeze. Mouse cursor still moves. Keyboard does not respond. Can't switch to another VC. If I ssh in to the box I can see that Xorg is pegging the CPU. In the logs I see an error [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop. followed by a backtrace. I will attach the Xorg.0.log. Choosing evdev as the component based on the backtrace. I would not be surprised if it is the wrong component. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.7.1-7.fc12.i686 xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.13.0-0.10.20091006git457646d73.fc12.i686 xorg-x11-drv-evdev-2.3.0-1.fc12.i686 How reproducible: This happens randomly two to three times a day. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log in to gnome 2.go about you normal business until the screen and keyboard stop responding 3. Actual results: Frozen screen and keyboard. Movable mouse. Expected results: Screen, keyboard and mouse keep working Additional info: Using a Lenovo T500 in a dock with external monitor plugged in via DVI. I can't remember if I have seen this bug when using the the LVDM only sans dock and external monitor.
