Description Khamit Ardashev 2009-12-04 01:46:38 UTC
Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/xauth "module_request" access.

Detailed Description:

SELinux denied access requested by xauth. It is not expected that this access is
required by xauth and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also
possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is
causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

I take it you are blocking ipv6?

Closing as dup, reopen if not.

Comment 2 Khamit Ardashev 2009-12-04 19:21:19 UTC
I am not using and I have not configured ipv6 at all. I hardly did anything. Just installed the system and errors pop up.

Comment 3 Daniel Walsh 2009-12-05 12:01:47 UTC
Eric any ideas?

Comment 4 Eric Paris 2010-02-25 18:08:42 UTC
Are you still seeing these problems? Could oyu run a custom kernel I'll give you if you are?

Comment 5 Eric Paris 2010-03-15 18:11:30 UTC
If you still have problems please run a rawhide 2.6.34 based kernel and supply us with the same information you did when you opened the bug. That kernel will give us the information we were asking about.
