Temporarily adding the keyword "SubBug" so we can be sure we have accounted for all the bugs. keyword: new = Tracking + FutureFeature + SubBug making sure we're not missing any bugs in rhq_triage I am not able to reproduce this. I see that this was opened in December of last year so it quite likely that between then and now the issue has already been resolved. Moving to ON_QA for final verification. Just reproduced on build 00da6dd (linux, postgres, openjdk) I reproduced it with both the sun jdk and openjdk using dev builds. I missed enabling the log source before. The event sources are stored as PropertyMaps in a PropertyList. PropertyList checks to ensure that each of the added to it have the same name. If a property doesn't then an exception is thrown. Based on the plugin descriptor that property name should be logEventSource but JBossASDiscoveryComponent was giving a name of serverLog. So when you go to add a new event source, the new corresponding property is named logEventSource since that is what is in the plugin configuration definition, but the initial property added during discovery is named serverLog; hence the exception. I have updated the discovery code so that the property names are consistent with the plugin descriptor. The commit hash for this is, 62cb0409ac8b339701d854d7973d3823a37731c1 Moving to ON_QA. QA Verified, creating a new Event Source now works/no longer produces a stack trace. removing "rhq_spearhead" as a blocker for this bz - I am not sure why this is set. If this removal is erroneous, we can always add it back. Mass-closure of verified bugs against JON. |
