Description Mike A. Harris 2001-10-17 09:26:27 UTC
Running ee, there is mention of cropping throughout the app,
but no visible or intuitive way to actually crop an image, at
least none that I can find. CLick and drag doesn't work with
any mouse button, nor does it work while holding down CTRL, ALT,
or SHIFT. Hunting through the minimal menus and widgets, I
find no crop function other than display showing that "crop" is (0,0).
Right clicking on the image shows "Crop Selection" with a pair of
scissors however, indicating cropping should be available, but there
does not seem to be a way to actually "select" anything to crop,
as there was in the xv program.

Solutions: Either cropping should be fixed, or removed entirely.

The secret is to use middle mouse button to make a selection to crop to.
Your basic designed-by-Raster user interface.

Ahh, god.. it does actually work. What a totally fucked up shitty UI
'ee' has. Raster is quite an artist when it comes to graphics, but
his UI design indeed has a lot to be desired.
