Description Adam Tkac 2009-12-21 14:22:52 UTC
Description of problem:
Firefox no longer uses "Firefox" X11 WM_CLASS property. It breaks at least my fluxbox configuration.

WM_CLASS property is the easiest way I know to identify X11 applications in scripts etc.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
$ rpm -q firefox xulrunner
firefox-3.6.1-0.6.b4.fc13.x86_64
xulrunner-1.9.2.1-0.7.b4.fc13.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run $ xprop WM_CLASS
2. click on firefox window
3. check which WM_CLASS properties firefox has

Actual results:
$ xprop WM_CLASS
WM_CLASS(STRING) = "Navigator", "Namoroka"

Expected results:
"Firefox" string is included in WM_CLASS property as in Fedora 12 (and probably every stable firefox release)

Comment 1 Bug Zapper 2010-03-15 13:39:33 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 13 development cycle.
Changing version to '13'.
