There already exists a package named mysql-query-browser within the Fedora repositorys. Did you just miss that one or is it really necessary to do another review here? Or am I just missing you splitted up the mysql-gui-tools package? *blush* Yes, existing mysql-query-browser is a part of mysql-gui-tools which we would now obsolete and separate packages. And this package is not just part of separated mysql-gui-tools. From version 5.0r14 there no tarball release produced for Linux and no build support. This package, what present on review is mostly written from scratch (off course good history and knowledge I try get in future :) ). Work on its release starts many month ago... It died before the birth. MySQL Adminsitrator (and MySQL Query Browser) goes EOL and will be replace by MySQL Workbench. See http://wb.mysql.com/?p=470 |
