Description Jacob Masaki 2009-12-26 20:36:32 UTC
Description of problem:
Thunderbird appears to not use libnotify, Firefox however, does. So it looks like it's possible to get libnotify popups with a XUL application.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.0

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get new mail in Thunderbird.

Actual results:
See a Thunderbird/XUL popup, not a libnotify popup.

Expected results:
See a libnotify popup like in Firefox.

We found this bug in the upstream database (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478463) and believe that it is more appropriate to let it be resolved upstream.

We will continue to track the issue in the centralized upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates.

Thank you for the bug report.
