Description Jacob Masaki 2009-12-26 20:43:10 UTC
Description of problem:
It looks like keybindings for most Compiz plugins can't be changed through CCSM.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Assign a hotkey for the terminal (say Ctrl+Alt+t)
2. Attempt to use said hotkey.

Actual results:
Nothing happens, key appears unbound.

Expected results:
Terminal pops up.

Additional info:
The gconf keys don't appear to be written (but are remembered by CCSM's UI) and setting the gconf keys with gconf-editor works.

$ rpm -qa | grep compiz
compizconfig-backend-gconf-0.8.2-2.fc12.x86_64
compiz-fusion-gnome-0.8.2-4.fc12.x86_64
compiz-gnome-0.8.2-19.fc12.x86_64
compiz-fusion-0.8.2-4.fc12.x86_64
compiz-0.8.2-19.fc12.x86_64
libcompizconfig-0.8.2-7.fc12.x86_64
compizconfig-python-0.8.2-2.fc12.x86_64

Looks like with the patched package I can set keybindings, now. At least for screenshot.

Keybindings look to work with the shift-switcher, as well.

Thanks for the quick patch.
