Description James 2009-12-28 20:39:54 UTC
Description of problem:
When the system is left to idle for the first time in the session, the screensaver kicks in and the session locks, but the display does not power off after the assigned time.

On all subsequent cycles, the display does power off as it should.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.7.1-9.fc12.x86_64
gnome-power-manager-2.28.2-2.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new session.
2. Let it idle, wait until screensaver kicks in.
3. Wait for display-off timeout.

Actual results:
Display stays on, screensaver continues to run.

Expected results:
Display switches off at timeout.

Additional info:
Seen to happen on both Intel and ATI.
