Description Gendre Sébastien 2009-12-31 18:21:02 UTC
Description of problem:
In my fresh installation of Fedora 12, discovered that the SSH server is enabled by default. SSHD is load in Runlevel 2 to 5, it use the port 22 and 'PermitRootLogin' is activate.
Also, SSH is enabled as "trusted service" in the fire-wall.

It is normal?
It is an error?

I think is dangerous for the security of OS, no?

This is an standard. The ssh service is secure and the installer enforces strong passwords.
