Description of problem:
I have eclipse-pydev with pylint enabled. Whenever I run an application inside eclipse, pylint is run on it. But it never ends and it hangs instead. After several runs I have the cpu of my machine consumed by unfinished python processes

Is this true for any python application, or just for a specific piece of python code?

This bug seems to be a duplicate of http://www.logilab.org/ticket/19641

pylint hangs inside pydev because it hangs everywhere...

Test code

import pyfits

print pyfits.__name__

Result is an infinite loop

Exception RuntimeError: 'maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object' in <type 'exceptions.RuntimeError'> ignored
