User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091216 Fedora/3.5.6-1.fc12 Firefox/3.5.6

In System - Preferences - Software updates , i made checking for updates , major upgrades NEVER and automatically install NOTHING.

Bad:The problem is without updating the yum or installing a new package or opening the package manger , every week a notifier shows in the upper panel telling me "New Security Updates" when i click on the icon i find that the update manger searched for the major and normal updates.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In System - Preferences - Software updates.
2.make checking for updates , major upgrades "NEVER" and automatically install "NOTHING".
3.Wait a week.
Actual Results:
The update manger searches for major and normal updates every week.

Expected Results:
Should never search for any updates.
