Description Rodrigo Ayala 2010-01-16 18:19:04 UTC
Description of problem:
Hi!, I have a problem with Brasero, when I try to burn something, it does not respect the burning speed that I choose. Right now I burned an iso image and I chose 2X as burning speed, at the beginning it started with a 2x speed... then 4x speed, and finally a 6x speed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Brasero Version : 2.28.3
Launch : 1.fc12

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make any project with brasero
2.Choose a low speed of burning speed.

Actual results:
Data burned at the maximum burning speed capable of the DVD-RW drive.

Expected results:
Data burned at burning speed choosed.

Additional info:
Using another burning software like GnomeBaker, I don't have this problem.

I'm seeing the same problem. I select 4x, it starts recording at about 8x, and steadily increases to about 19x. This results in CDs with IO errors.
