The oops indicates a kernel bug. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. Actual Results: aumix: error opening mixer Expected Results: soundblaster volume being set corectly. Additional info: I just removed the sb16 bits card to install the sb 8bits card (486 slot space issue). Then I run the "sndconfig" program and I did hear both the test sound.
