Description of problem:
Issuing the "shutdown -h now" command on Kernel 2.2.19-6.2.12 on RedHat 
6.2 performs a "Kernel Oops" at the very end of the shutdown process. The 
system enjoys an otherwise clean shutdown. The above listed motherboard 
has both an AT and an ATX power connector, but this error occurred whilst 
using the AT connector.

On previous Kernels, including 2.2.14-5.0 and 2.2.19-6.2.10, the error was 
more servere in that it generated a heap of hex codes on the screen for 
several seconds before actually stopping. On some occasions, the shutdown 
was not successful. On the 2.2.19-6.2.12 Kernel, the shutdown is 
essentially successful.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot the system as per usual.
2. Log in as root and issue the "shutdown -h now" command.
3. The error occurs every time.


Actual Results:  The above mentioned error occurs.


Expected Results:  The last message to be displayed should be "Power 
Down", and the system should stay there until there is user intervention.

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.
