File: backtrace
Anything in particular that you did before the crash? Was it a crash on startup? Could you try the gtg update (0.2.1) in updates testing to see if it fixes the bug ? yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gtg possible upstream reference https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtg/+bug/500566 (In reply to comment #2) > Anything in particular that you did before the crash? > Was it a crash on startup? > Could you try the gtg update (0.2.1) in updates testing to see if it fixes the > bug ? > > yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gtg Yes it crashes on startup. It helps to delete ~/.config/gtg gtg.conf: [browser] x_pos = 93 collapsed_tags = , tag_pane_width = 250 height = 550 opened_tasks = None, toolbar = True quick_add = True ctask_pane_height = 300 tag_pane = True closed_task_pane = True width = 893 collapsed_tasks = 6@1, bg_color_enable = True y_pos = 199 view = default tasklist_sort = 6, 0 [plugins] disabled = Hamster Time Tracker Integration, Tomboy plugin, Export and print, Geolocalized Tasks, Notification area, Remember the milk, Hello World, Bugzilla enabled = , tasks.conf: [1@1] position = 4, 69 size = 586, 400 [8@1] position = 8, 91 size = 470, 400 [5@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [6@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [7@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [16@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [14@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [3@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [2@1] position = 4, 69 size = 470, 400 [4@1] position = 4, 69 size = 515, 400 opened_tasks = None, in gtg.conf seems to be the one that's tripping it, perhaps "None" ended up there by some other bug in the config saving code. The code in new_task hasn't seen changes recently so I'll leave to upstream to decide what to do there. fwiw 0.2.1 behaves the same Thanks for the followup gtg-0.2.1-2.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gtg-0.2.1-2.fc12 Please test the proposed update when it lands in updates-testing. Needs karma 1 to go to stable. gtg-0.2.1-2.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. If you want to test the update, you can install it with su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gtg'. You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F12/FEDORA-2010-1915 gtg-0.2.1-3.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gtg-0.2.1-3.fc12 gtg-0.2.1-3.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository. You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F12/FEDORA-2010-1492 This message is a reminder that Fedora 12 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 12. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '12'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 12's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 12 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version, please add a comment here and someone will do it for you. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping Fedora 12 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2010-12-02. Fedora 12 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. |
