How to reproduce

1. Open the attached file gadf2.mng with animate, i.e. run "animate gadf2.mng" on the commandline.

2-6-animate-merge.mng

I accidentally deleted the original file, but this file can also be used to reproduce the problem. It is a simple MNG file created with GIMP 2.6.8.

Sorry for previous comment. It is wrong (tested on wrong build).
