Description ben.vanhaeren.external 2010-02-19 09:21:43 UTC
Description of problem:
Hi,

I cannot upload certain configuration files to a configuration channel. This is the error I get:

rhncfg-manager add --channel=common-cfg --server-name=spacewalk.unix.banksys.be /opt/test
Using server name spacewalk.unix.banksys.be
Pushing to channel common-cfg:
XML-RPC error while talking to https://spacewalk.unix.banksys.be/CONFIG-MANAGEMENT-TOOL: cannot marshal None unless allow_none is enabled

For some other files it is OK:

rhncfg-manager add --channel=common-cfg --server-name=spacewalk.unix.banksys.be /etc/resolv.conf
Using server name spacewalk.unix.banksys.be
Pushing to channel common-cfg:
Local file /etc/resolv.conf -> remote file /etc/resolv.conf

It seems very random, I can not see a common denominator for the files that trigger the error.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhel 5.4
rhncfg-management-5.9.14-1.el5
spacewalk-oracle-0.7.4-1.el5
