Kaffeine 1.0-pre3 was released.
It adds good features which was already in kaffeine 0.8.7 in Fedora 10, like configurable daily or weekly repetition of recording schedule entries.

Currently Fedora 12 has kaffeine-1.0-0.3.pre2.fc12 which misses some features which was previously in kaffeine of fedora 10.

It would be nice if this new version would be available for Fedora 12.

I just forget to note that kaffeine-1.0-0.3.pre2.fc12.x86_64 is missing the menu icon. 
If there is no one for kaffeine 1.0-pre3 available eventually you may add the menu icon from kaffeine-0.8.7-3.fc10.x86_64 while creating the new package version?

kaffeine-1.0-0.4.pre3.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with 
 su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update kaffeine'.  You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kaffeine-1.0-0.4.pre3.fc12
