How to reproduce ----- 1. start v4l2-tool program 2. click 'File|Open Device' 3. selected /dev/v4l/by-id/usb-CRrative_Labs_Creative_WebCam_Vista-video-index0 4. core-dump Comment ----- inserted a Creative WebCam Vista manually modprobe'd gspca_ov519 as it was not inserted automatically by udev/hal/whatever /dev/v4l/by-id/usb-CRrative_Labs_Creative_WebCam_Vista-video-index0 is a link to /dev/video0 crw-rw----+ 1 root video 81, 0 2010-04-16 10:41 /dev/video I have no plans to fix this as I have already stopped development on this. So thanks for using this package. I request you to please look at gtk-v4l package which is now building on koji for F-12 otherwise its available for F-13 and F-14. See if it can solve your problem. |
