Steve, would you build perl-Authen-PAM for EPEL-5 (or object if I co-maintain and do it myself). It's already branched and scratch-build works.

No movement here for two weeks, so I went ahead and built for EPEL 4 and 5 myself.

perl-Authen-PAM-0.16-8.el5 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 5 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with 
 su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update perl-Authen-PAM'.  You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/perl-Authen-PAM-0.16-8.el5
