Description of problem:
"error in processing external entity reference at line"

1.95.8-8.3.el5_4.2 fails
downgrading back to 1.95.8-8.2.1 works fine

This is identical bug behavior, and probably the identical patch was the cause, as http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=561658
