Description Matthias Clasen 2010-03-16 02:25:53 UTC
I have a Deskjet printer here at home, and for a long time now, cups keeps telling me that it is low on ink. That used to be annoying, but not a big problem. But now, cups refuses to print anything because of that low-ink warning.

The various windows laptops in the house have no issue at all with the printer and print just fine.

Looks like duplicate of Bug #510926.

Please run the printing troubleshooter.
System->Administration->Printing,
then Help->Troubleshoot from the menu bar.
Select your printer, enable debugging, try to print test page
(or any other document that causes problem)
and save the diagnostic output.
Attach the output to this bug report. Thanks.

Spoke to mclasen -- this problem is with an hpcups PPD from 3.9.8 when 3.10.2 is installed. Most likely a duplicate of bug #579355.
