How reproducible:
100% by me

Steps to Reproduce:
1. gdb curl --args curl -so/dev/null https://bugzilla.redhat.com
2. (gdb) break HandshakeCallback
3. (gdb) run
4. (gdb) display PR_GetError()
5. (gdb) run
  
Actual results:
gdb gets SIGSEGV

Expected results:
no crash, still debugging the program
