It would be nice if we could move to upstream's dbus 1.2.22 from the current 1.2.16.

There are a significant number of bugfixes that were addressed in 1.2.18 and a critical threading issue was fixed in 1.2.22.

The latter is evident when there is significant bus activity and fixes a locking issue in the watch handlers.

I need more concrete justification.  What specific applications affected by which specific bugs?

The release has only been out upstream for a whole day, so...
