Description of problem:
The kpackagekitsmarticon appears once per day (default setting) in the systemtray to check for updates. When there are updates (checked with yum), the smarticon doesn't see them. Available updates can be installed with kpackagekit.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Wait till kpackagekitsmarticon appears in the systemtray
2. Check with yum if updates are available
3.
  
Actual results:
kpackagekitsmarticon doesn't see updates

Expected results:
kpackagekitsmarticon notifies that updates are available

Additional info:

Not sure if it's relevant but I'm running nightly build kde-x86_64-20100313.20.iso in VirtualBox. It's fully updated.

Hi,

Updated kpackagekit (to 0.6.0-2 from koji) and PackageKit (0.6.3-0.1).

This issue is in these versions solved. This report can be closed
