Description Gerrit Slomma 2010-03-30 19:14:46 UTC
Description of problem:

Today with release of RHEL 5.5 i wanted to update - but in vain.
Update fails on openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.5.el5.x86_64 with an dependency of lucene whereas lucene is NOT available.

(...)
libz.so.1()(64bit)
lucene
openoffice.org-ure = 1:3.1.1-19.5.el5
(...)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.5.el5

How reproducible:

everytime i want to update, in fact lucene is not even in RHN, only for Red Hat Developer Suite v. 3 (WS v. 4 for x86_64). In CentOS 5.4 it is available.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum update -y
2. 1:openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.5.el5.x86_64 from rhel-x86_64-client-5 has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: lucene is needed by package 1:openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.5.el5.x86_64 (rhel-x86_64-client-5)
Error: Missing Dependency: lucene is needed by package 1:openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.5.el5.x86_64 (rhel-x86_64-client-5)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
                        package-cleanup --dupes
                        rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Actual results:

Update fails with stated dependency.

Expected results:

Update runs through fine

Additional info:

lucene is in CentOS 5.4-base-repo

I could file a RHN-ticket via Red Hat Customer Center if needed!

Comment 1 Daniel Mach 2010-03-30 19:51:37 UTC
Should be fixed now.
Can you try again?

Comment 2 Gerrit Slomma 2010-03-30 21:06:41 UTC
Works now as lucene is (again?) available.

Comment 3 Daniel Mach 2010-05-25 06:32:09 UTC
Problem is fixed now (by uploading several lucene rpms to RHN).
Closing.
