True. It's some of the plug-in scripts that require several external executables. Geeqie's error message isn't clear if a plug-in is missing, so making them optional would not work well. And for missing executables, it only prints those errors onto the console. For now, I've added several dependencies. geeqie-1.0-2.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/geeqie-1.0-2.fc12 geeqie-1.0-2.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. If you want to test the update, you can install it with su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update geeqie'.
