Additionally, simplistic ugly workaround attempts I tried resulted in the crash being gone but unwanted effects to the GUI (misplaced slider handles or duplicate panel areas) but more interestingly, duplicate data for each slider in ~/.gkrellm2/user-config every time the plugin is re-enabled and thus duplicate sliders are also shown on the next gkrellm run. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 14 development cycle. Changing version to '14'.
