Description of problem:
I have been trying to use rhn but since I need to use a username and password in order to connect through our proxy, I have not been able to.

I have looked around for this feature. I would have thought this is a basic feature to have. Have I been overlooking something?

Please run
rhn_register --config

and enable both the HTTP Proxy and Enable Proxy Authentication checkboxes, and
fill in the username and password for your authenticated proxy.

Marking as NOTABUG, please feel free to reopen it if it doesn't work for you.
