Description:

getfreeport is a simple library and command line utility written in Python.
It's purpose is to provide an easy means of dynamically obtaining a free port
to listen on. For example, a test suite might require a new instance of a
service to be started multiple times simultaneously on the same system which
would require the ability to ensure that the port it is attempting to use is
available.
