I guess that you missed the third screen during the instalation. Yes, it's about setting the mouse type. If you just agreed to "Generic 3-button mouse PS/2", this is exactly what you got at the end - "PS/2". If you found your mouse there and picked it, then and only then it's a bug. In this case, don't forget to tell us which mouse exactly you have (model + make from the down-side of it), and what was you choice during instalation. To play with different choices without the need to reistall it all use "mouseconfig". Correct, you need to select the correct mouse type on the mouse selection screen. PS/2 mice, unfortunately, don't really have much in the way of probing support :) thanks for help, it's ok if I manually select the correct mouse type |
