Description of problem:
When installing docked laptop the focus moves from external display to internal even when it is closed at the time when graphical installation kicks in.

How reproducible:
Set Thinkpad T400 bios settings to "discrete graphics" and os detection for switcahble graphics to "no".

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start installing rhel 6 beta
2. answer the keyboard etc questions
3. When graphical install starts, no image on external display. Opening the laptop display will show image on laptop.
  
Actual results:
Image does not show on external display through the installation process when laptop lid closed.

Expected results:
Image stays on external display throuh the installation process when laptop lid closed.

The same things happens when OS boots up for the first time and OS wants to know username etc.

Please attach

* your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available),
* output of the dmesg command,
* system log (/var/log/messages), and
* X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log)

to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link above.

After the second bootup everything works as expected?

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information.

After the second boot it does not work as expected. It works like described in bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=585111

No /etc/X11/xorg.conf at all.
