Are you doing an upgrade or install? What install source are you using (CD, network, etc)? I was trying to do an upgrade. (Ultimately, I needed to perform a new install, since your upgrade capabilities contain this bug.) I was installing from CD-ROM. > What install source are you using (CD, network, etc)? AGAIN, I was installing from a CD-ROM. > + > +------- Additional comments from darwinairola 2002-01-28 20:26:28 > ------- > +I was trying to do an upgrade. I also have this exact same problem, down to the last coded letter... Trying to do a full install of enigma 7.2 onto my hard drive. 3.5Gb for the root and 256Mb for the swap partitions. Would be dual booted, and trying to use the GRUB boot manager Any Help or info would be appreciated... I am just getting in to this and trying to convert from the aforementioned o/s... Thanks Jim Davis Oh, and I am installing from cd's and a boot disk made from downloads off one of the Mirror Sites. 128Mb Physical Memory Installed also Thanks Again Jim The error log seems truncated. Anyhow, have you checked the md5sum of the images you burned? This looks like a classic bad CD situation. Closing due to inactivity. Please reopen if you have more information. |
