Proposed fix, apply with git am
This patch makes the X server deal with missing outputs more gracefully instead of segfaulting (and making ABRT sad).
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Thanks for that, I'll test the patch here today and post it upstream. I'll batch this up in an update soon, there's another patch I'm waiting on testing from too. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux major release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Major release. This request is not yet committed for inclusion. MODIFIED xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.16-6.20100423git13c1043.el6 is available in brew. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 is now available and should resolve the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of CURRENTRELEASE. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. |
