Description Reuben Farrelly 2002-01-31 12:55:08 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461)

Description of problem:
Unsatisfied dependency when installing ucd-snmp-utils 4.2.3-4

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download ucd-snmp-utils-4.2.3-4
2. Attempt to install

Actual Results: Error message: "Unsatisfied dependencies for ucd-snmp-utils-
4.2.3-4: perl(Term::ReadKey)"

Expected Results: The package installed without this error as the dependency
either didn't exist or was satisfied by the existence of another package.

Additional info:

What RPM package satisfies this dependency? If any do, it's not obvious...

Comment 1 Phil Knirsch 2002-01-31 14:17:34 UTC
The obvious one should: perl. But something is currently screwed up in rawhide,
hopefully will get fix over the next couple of days.

For the time being i'll build a 7.2 version and put it on

http://people.redhat.com/pknirsch

which you can give a shot.

Thanks,

Read ya, Phil

Comment 2 Reuben Farrelly 2002-01-31 15:04:42 UTC
Thanks for that Phil, there's a new RPM on rawhide now called perl-TermReadKey-
2.17-9 which resolves this dependency.

Quick work guys ;-)
