This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux major release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Major release. This request is not yet committed for inclusion. libgstcheck is a helper library intended solely for build-testing. The various gstreamer plugin packages would need it when building - or better: running make check - for example. No installed application would ever depend on it though. Also, the library does not conform to usual quality norms (like proper symbol prefixing). So it makes a lot of sense to only ship it in the devel package. *** Bug 604566 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
