Description of problem:

On 2010/05/19 we shipped live an erratum containing script for renaming satellite hostname:

Appropriate knowledge article was created:

We need to update also the Satellite online documentation accordingly.

Added section in the "Maintenance" chapter of the Satellite Installation Guide on renaming the hostname:

Hey John,
here are my comments:

a.)
from you doc:
... are passed at the command-line (as in the above example)
but you didn't provide any example
So, I suggest to remove the comment in the brackets

b.)
... if at least one SSL option is specified, then satellite-hostname-rename will generate a certificate.
CHANGE TO
... will generate new SSL certificate.

The 5.4.0 RHN Satellite and RHN Proxy release has occurred. This issue has been resolved with this release.
