"Download Packages" has a number of known issues. The primary one is that it should only allow for 25 packages at a time, but a) the logic allows for 25 package *names* at a time, which can result in more than 25 *packages*, and b) an unrelated bug involving error-messages can result in the "Only 25 at once" message never making it back to the user. There are also edge cases when the resulting tarball is "too big" and fails to be transferred before the proxy timeout kicks in. BZ 590136 is the oldest public BZ I can find for the Download Packages problem. I am marking all the other ones I can find as duplicates of that one, and raising '136's priority. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 590136 *** |
