Description Thomas Ploss 2002-02-13 11:58:50 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.2.1) Gecko/20010901

Description of problem:
The provider i am using is doing authentification via chap. That works fine for
configuraitons done for normal modems via rp3-config.

The provider allows dialup via ISDN, unfortunatly i cant figure out how to
change the authmechanism to purely CHAP

Also changes for behaviour for LCP are unclear/not configurable. which files do
need to be modified?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start neat
2.add new provider for ISDN-device

Actual Results: i cant dial into a provider who is using chap-auth

It's there (redhat-config-network-0.9.10-2) - just go to the advanced tab.
