Anaconda dump with LVM partitioning.
It would really help if you can list the steps to recreate the issue. Using bootnet.img doing NFS install in GUI mode. Machine contains single 20 GB IDE drive. Drive contains 1 existing VFAT partition (13 GB) (yeah, yeah, it's the families machine). * Select custom install and other default options till partitioning screen * Select "Manually partiton with Disk Druid" * Create new partition * Type: swap * Size: 256 MB * Options altered * None * Create new partition * Type: Physical volume * Options altered: * Fill to maximum allowable * Click on LVM button * Volume group name: test1 * Add logical volume * Logical volume name: test2 * Type: Ext3 * Mount point: /usr * Size unimportant * OK * OK * Delete VG test1 * Delete partition containing physical volume * Now we should only have the VFAT, swap, and free space showing under /dev/hda tree * Create new partition * Type: Ext3 * Mount point: / * Fill to maximum allowable space * Click next * Kaboom! Thanks! Deferring this to the next installer. This should be fixed now. Time tracking values updated I'm going through Bugzilla closing some bugs that have been marked as Modified for some period of time. I believe that most of these issues have been fixed, so I'm resolving these bugs as Rawhide. If the bug you are seeing still exists, please reopen this report and mark it as Reopened. |
