Description Martin Matejovic 2010-06-09 08:54:54 UTC
Description of problem:
We provide a special version of the IBM 1.4.2 JDK for customers running SAP on
RHEL 6 via the RHEL AP for SAP channel.

The regular version of the IBM 1.4.2 JDK is available via the RHEL
Supplementary channel, but this version should never be used by customers
running SAP.

Unfortunately the name of both packages is the same ("java-1.4.2-ibm") which
will cause the special IBM 1.4.2 JDK for SAP to be overwritten by the regular
version if a system is subscribed to the RHEL AP for SAP and the RHEL
supplementary channel

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. subscribe system to RHEL AP for SAP channel
2. install java-1.4.2-ibm-1.4.2.13.2.sap-1jpp.4.el6.x86_64.rpm from RHEL AP
for SAP channel
3. subscribe channel to RHEL Supplementary channel as well
4. update system

Actual results:
java-1.4.2-ibm-1.4.2.13.2.sap-1jpp.4.el5_3.x86_64.rpm from RHEL AP for SAP
channel gets replaced by java-1.4.2-ibm-1.4.2.13.3-1jpp.1.el5.i386.rpm from
RHEL supplementary channel

Expected results:
IBM 1.4.2 JDK from RHEL AP for SAP channel should not be replaced by standard
IBM 1.4.2 JDK during system update
