Description Pedro Miguel Marques Morais 2002-02-26 11:28:50 UTC
Description of Problem:
IDLE installation isn't optional as I think it should be.
The idle-related files should be split into a separate subpackage.

Comment 1 Trond Eivind Glomsrxd 2002-02-26 15:12:05 UTC
I don't really see a need... too many subpackages (and idle doesn't add new
dependencies or that many bytes), and you can't see the forest for all trees.

Comment 2 Pedro Miguel Marques Morais 2002-02-26 15:30:25 UTC
Same as 60345. Why does a desktop user need, on a package with LOTS of
dependencies, an interface used by programers?
If kdevelop was smaller, would it be included in kdelibs?
It's just the same to me.
1 kb in a base package is *much* more important than 1 kb in a seldom used
one.
