patch to update to new version

Hi,

I'm currently trying to improve ipython a bit and the deprecation warning, that the sets module is deprecated is annoying quite a bit.

This was solved upstream in the new version and seems to work locally.
(There still fail some tests, but it seems, they are the same, than in the current version)

I could also do the rebuild if you'd let me ;)

Hi Thomas,

Sure, please go ahead and rebuild it.
Are you a provenpackager? If not, just ask for commit access for python-foolscap in the pkgdb.

Yes, I am.

Thanks for allowing /me :)

I'll now start a rebuild in rawhide only, but I propose an update for F-13 too, because there was an important speed error fixed:
http://foolscap.lothar.com/trac/ticket/149

If I should do that one too, give me a ping.
(Because you ask, that I should ask for commit access in pkgdb, I guess, this would be ok too. Waiting for a confirmation anyway.)

Absolutely, please update foolscap in F-13 as well :-)

Btw, I've been working on packaging Tahoe for the last, I dunno, 2 years or so. Are you interested in helping out? AFAIK all dependencies are in, all that's needed is Tahoe itself.

There's a (pretty old) specfile here: http://ruben.fedorapeople.org/allmydata-tahoe.spec

Will do so :)

Hmm, I don't use tahoe, and I'm unsure, if I ever will.
Atm, I try to fullfil, the dependencies for a new update of ipython like bug #603233.

But I can help you with finally getting this in. :)

When you open that review request, you can directly assign /me there.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the update!

When I've got a few spare hours next week, I'll get Tahoe up to date and submit a request.

Thanks for the help :-)
